| Nancy Varallo, FAPR/RDR/CRR
Nancy Varallo, as owner of Court Reporting Management Services, LLC, offers business and office management services to court reporters and reporting firms. Nancy started working as a freelance reporter in 1979. Her experience over the last 30 years includes running a large agency; developing a court reporting program and teaching students; and working as a CART provider for hard-of-hearing people.
Nancy was inducted as a Fellow into the Academy of Professional Reporters in 2001, is currently serving on the National Court Reporters Association Total Immersion Task Force, and was elected to their Board of Directors in 2009. She has also been actively involved with the Massachusetts Court Reporters Association, holding several board positions including president. Nancy has served as member and chair of numerous committees and task forces for both associations.
Involvement in her local community has always been important to Nancy. She recently completed a seven-year term as an elected official in her home town, serving as chair and member of the local school board. She has many hobbies and enjoys her monthly book club and daily water aerobics class. Nancy shares her life with her husband, Ed Varallo, NCRA's six-time Speed Contest Champion, and their grown children. Because she can rely on her professional staff's commitment to excellence, Nancy feels comfortable leaving her business while she and Ed indulge in their love of travel. |
